About the Founder
Meet Marco Moreno
Counselor, Coach, Educator, and Story-Seeker
I’m Marco, the founder of GoldenMythos, Golden Thread Counseling, and MythoLogica Coaching & Consulting. This space was created to integrate the heart of healing, the art of storytelling, and the science of human development.
My professional journey is rooted in a deep commitment to helping others navigate life’s inner and outer challenges—whether through therapy, coaching, or education. I hold licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, certification as a Leadership and Executive Coach, and serve as an adjunct instructor in communication and psychology. I also work in Organizational Development, where I support leaders and teams in cultivating emotional intelligence, building resilient cultures, and driving meaningful, human-centered change.
My academic background includes graduate degrees in communication and counseling, as well as advanced training in Executive Coaching, Applied Mythology, and Analytical Psychology. I also hold certifications in Mass Campaigns and Public Relations, Human Resources Management, and the EQ-i 2.0 Emotional Intelligence Assessment.
This unique blend of psychology, communication, leadership, and organizational development allows me to bridge depth and strategy—bringing symbolic insight and research-backed tools into personal and professional growth spaces.
My Approach
In my counseling practice (Golden Thread Counseling), I offer integrative, evidence-based therapy grounded in person-centered values, existential reflection, and a depth-oriented approach. Modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, and frameworks inspired by Jungian and existential thought. I create a supportive and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions, face internal challenges, and move forward with clarity and resilience.
In my coaching and consulting practice (MythoLogica), I specialize in leadership, life, and communication coaching. I work with professionals, creatives, and organizations to strengthen leadership presence, navigate transitions, and align actions with purpose.
I also offer specialized communication coaching, focusing on public speaking, interpersonal communication, strategic messaging, and storytelling—helping clients develop their authentic voice and communicate with clarity, confidence, and impact.
Whether working one-on-one or with teams, I bring both practical frameworks and symbolic depth to the table—helping people reconnect to what matters most and act from a place of purpose.
A Bit More About Me
I’m a lifelong learner who draws inspiration from mythology, psychology, philosophy, and the everyday experiences that reveal what it means to be human. I’m also a U.S. Army veteran, a former medical office manager, and someone who believes in integrating life’s many chapters into a cohesive whole. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me reading, writing, meditating, or walking labyrinths—both literal and symbolic.
GoldenMythos is more than a business. It’s a reflection of the journey I’ve taken—and the one I hope to walk with you.
